▷ Mirrorlink: cos'è, come si usa e auto, radio e cellulari compatibili

Dalla diffusione dei sistemi di navigazione intelligenti nelle auto e dalla loro compatibilità con Android Auto e Apple Car, molti produttori hanno scelto di integrare ciò che è noto come MirrorLink. Uno dei requisiti essenziali per godere di questo tipo di tecnologia in macchina si basa sull'avere un touch screen di una certa dimensione che permetta anche di riprodurre il colore. Ma cos'è veramente MirrorLink? Tutte le auto sono compatibili con MirrorLink? Esistono radio compatibili con MirrorLink? Lo vediamo di seguito.

Cos'è MirrorLink e come funziona

Come suggerisce il nome, MirrorLink non è altro che una tecnologia che consente di duplicare il contenuto dello schermo sul sistema di navigazione dell'auto. A differenza di altri sistemi proprietari come Apple Car o Android Auto, MirrorLink duplica l'intero schermo dello smartphone come se fosse un monitor, in modo tale da non dover ricorrere ad applicazioni compatibili per farli funzionare in macchina.

Per quanto riguarda il funzionamento di MirrorLink, questo è davvero semplice se abbiamo un'auto e un cellulare compatibili. Come regola generale, il processo è semplice come collegare il telefono all'auto tramite una delle porte USB del veicolo e quindi concedere i permessi di connessione all'auto. Va aggiunto, ovviamente, che il cavo USB utilizzato nella connessione deve essere il proprietario del telefono stesso o uno che supporti la trasmissione dei dati. Vi lasciamo con diversi modelli di cavi compatibili con MirrorLink.

Una volta che ci siamo assicurati che sia l'auto, il cavo e il telefono siano compatibili con MirrorLink, collegheremo lo smartphone all'auto e andremo all'opzione MirrorLink all'interno dell'applicazione Impostazioni Android. Sui cellulari Samsung e HTC, questa stessa opzione può essere abilitata tramite l'applicazione corrispondente (Car Mode, LG MirrorDrive, HTC MirrorLink…), applicazioni che possiamo scaricare dallo store di Google.

Infine abiliteremo l'opzione Consenti la connessione del telefono all'auto e automaticamente la schermata verrà replicata in dettaglio sullo schermo dell'auto.

Elenco dei telefoni compatibili con MirrorLink (aggiornato al 2019)

L'elenco dei telefoni Android compatibili con MirrorLink non è molto ampio. Ad oggi, infatti, solo pochi telefoni Huawei, Samsung, HTC, LG e Sony sono compatibili con tale tecnologia. Il resto di marchi come Google con Pixel o OnePlus non hanno compatibilità con questo tipo di sistemi
